Booking & Payment

• A signed rental agreement and the required deposit are necessary to reserve your installation date.

• The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days prior to your scheduled installation.

• Bookings made within 14 days of installation require payment in full at the time of booking.

• Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Any change to order may result in additional fees.

• We reserve the right to substitute tree size based on availability.

• In the event a tree does not fit (too tall) we will work with client to secure another date for setup. We do not offer partial refund for shorter tree but rather charge $75 for having to come back so please....be sure your tree height is appropriate before booking any tree over 6.5 ft. tall.

Security Deposit

A refundable security deposit may be required depending on the rental package selected. The deposit will be refunded within 7 business days after all rental items have been inspected and determined to be in their original condition, normal wear and tear excepted. Non-refundable deposit required to reserve tree is not refundable for any reason. No exceptions.

Once a tree is set up we do not offer partial refunds of any kind.

Children's Damage Deposit

For homes where children 10 years of age or younger will be present at any time during the rental period,

a refundable $250 Children's Damage Deposit is required.

This deposit helps cover accidental damage to ornaments, décor, ribbon, lighting, tree branches, and other rental items.

If no damage occurs, the deposit will be refunded in full following pickup and inspection.

Pet Damage Deposit

For homes with dogs or cats, a refundable $250 Pet Damage Deposit is required.

This deposit covers accidental damage caused by pets, including chewing, scratching, marking, tipping, or soiling of rental décor.

The deposit will be refunded in full after pickup if no damage is found.

Damage & Replacement

The renter is responsible for all rental items from installation until pickup.

Charges may apply for:

• Broken or missing ornaments

• Damaged ribbon or florals

• Broken tree branches or lighting

• Missing décor pieces

• Damage caused by children, pets, guests, or movers

• Damage resulting from relocating or disassembling the tree (by someone other than our staff.

If damages exceed the security deposit, the renter agrees to pay the additional replacement or repair costs.

Tree Placement

Our professional designers will determine the safest placement for the Christmas tree. Once installed, the tree should not be moved, rotated, or relocated by the renter or guests. All trees are photographed upon completion. If we arrive to clean up and find the tree in another location all deposits become non refundable. 

Access Requirements

The client is responsible for ensuring safe and unobstructed access to the property during installation and removal. Additional labor charges may apply for excessive stairs, long carrying distances, restricted access, or delayed entry.

Rental Period

Trees and décor are rented for the agreed rental period. Pickup dates will be scheduled at the time of booking.

Additional rental days may be available for an additional fee, subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy

• All deposits are non refundable.

• Within 14 days of installation: Payments are non-refundable due to scheduling, labor commitments, and inventory reservation.

Liability

Island Elves is not responsible for injuries resulting from misuse, climbing on, or tampering with rental décor. Clients agree to supervise children and pets around all decorations.

Photography

We may photograph completed installations for our portfolio and marketing purposes. We will never disclose the client's name or property address without permission.

Acceptance

By submitting payment, the client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Booking Policy.
